I've opened this discussion to allow all members of our lymphoma community to connect, support one another, and talk about anything and everything related to your cancer or not at all! Let's share share both our difficulties but also the small joys that make us stronger!
Don't hesitate to introduce yourself, share, and check in with other members so we can create a united and caring community. You are not alone facing lymphoma!
Hi I'm Olivia, and I just joined the site. I was just diagnosed so i'm looking for any support or advice.
I think it all depends on your lymphoma where you have it and what stage you are at to what treatment you will get. I have one more chemo session in hospital over six days to go before radiotherapy. What I would say is it’s not easy but quite doable. Listen to your consultants and if you have any concerns like feeling unwell, nauseous headaches et cetera always get in touch with your team and they will help you. I also think everyone’s journey is different, i’m sure you will get a good team to support you and if you’re in the UK always talk to your MacMillan nurse they help to put things back into perspective
