Hi I am 36 years old. I suffer with chronic constipation, severe ins, visceral hypersensitivity, high prolactin and endometriosis.
I have been in and out of hospital done numerous trials. With no success. My bowels are the main problem. Does anyone have similar conditions.

I am sorry that I cannot help the above sufferers of IBS, as I do not suffer from that particular condition, really hope someone can post something that may make your condition more bearable soon. I have a troublesome hiatus hernia myself, and a stomach that throws up acid like a factory 24/7, despite taking 40mg Nexium in the morning, 300mg ranitidine at night, and Gaviscon advance. I am in agony from the acid all the time at the moment, I am only eating salads and light healthy food, but it doesn't make any difference Wake up choking most nights because a vile mix of acid and food regurgitates back up my osophogus even though I never eat after 5pm. Just wondering if anyone out there has this, and if so have they found anything good to help in the fight with it? Blessings to all of you on this thread, hope you find something to ease your pain.

Hi my name is Rachel altho I prefer Rae. I'm 36 and suffer from IBS which is controlled by Buscopan meds from doc. I also suffer with hiatal hernia and oseophagitis. This was diagnosed by a camera and is again controlled by meds. If there is anyone on here that is suffering with the hernia have they had more than one camera to diagnose as have to have another camera shortly

Hi everyone...I have got Hiatus Hernia and IBS. They are both a right pain. If its not one end, its the other.
Hiatus Hernia: I've had quite a few attacks acid, bloating, severe pain that fluctuates from throat to chest, stomach and back aa in and feeling of being strangled in the throat. It is all so painful and scary. Some times I thought it was going to kill me. I was taken to A&E once because I thought it was a Heart Attack, of course it wasn't though. The severe pain went on for about an hour. I was told sometimes it can be mistaken for a Heart Attack. My GP had already prescribed Omeprazole capsuls, I take 1 a day. I always carry with me a box of Rennies for emergencies sometimes they work if its not too bad.
IBS: There's been many times that I've been caught out when out and about for the day and found myself in an embarrassing situation and hubby had to fetch me home. Now days I take with me extra trousers, knickers and baby wipes and deodorants. My meds for this is Loprimide capsuls I take 1 a day, if its bad I take 2 a day. I get really bad wind at times and have to take 1 of the capsuls and stay away from people until it subsides...lol. When I go out I keep in my bag Imodium in-case I need it. And another thing is I find is when I get nervous IBS seems to play me up and I always get the feeling that I want to go. The same thing happens to me when I go shopping, I have to take meds half an hour before I go out.
Does anyone else here have any of this happen them!?? Or is it just me who gets in a state?
It is about what we eat too. I found since changing my eating habits I haven't had any problems Hiatus Hernia or IBS. I eat plenty of fruit and vegetables and drink loads of water. I've cut out bread, butter and all sugary foods and caffine and sugary drinks.

Hi everyone I'm a sufferer of IBS for 10 yrs it's all trial and error everyone is different what helps others might irritate yours,I myself found any tablet form of medication caused it to be worse,so I now stick to a eliminated diet if I eat something and it causes pain bloating are constipation I put it on my list and avoid it,what helps mine is plenty of water also fresh mint leaves in water, massage your colon with lavender essential oil,and drainage and elimination tea bags, eat small meals over the day chew your food properly and no talking while eating as your taking in air hence bloating, exercise helps just a brisk 15 minutes walk,I take deflatine chewable tablets they do help with the bloating, hope this helps it's a horrendous disease to have and can take over your life because your governed as to what your tummy is going to let you do on a daily basis,if anyone else on the sight suffers would be good to hear what helps them
