Have you tried rose hip tablets. There is research supporting rose hip and although sceptical I was desperate. It has transformed my life each day I see improvements. I have been taking it three weeks so far and I can walk and do jobs without the pain and stiffness I used to get. My fingers have reduced in swelling and I am sleeping better. It has improved my feet, knees, shoulders and fingers. It doesn't help arthritis but the evidence is quite strong for osteoarthritis. My husband and friend have also seen huge improvements. I would be interested to know what happens if someone else tries it. Of course it won't help everyone but from memory in the research 80% had some sort of relief. I am definitely not cured by any means but my pain and stiffness is now background rather than foreground and I am not taking pain relief for most of the time.

I got rejected for knee replacement it gave me kick up the bum so I have cut out all rubbish chocolate cakes biscuits, eating more fruit and salad and I'm 3lb off loosing a stone hardly any exercise at moment but I'm so pleased. If I loose few more stones then I shall get a new knee next year. It's about 1lb a week slow but sure.

I had a hip replacement 16 months ago due to osteoarthritis. I can honestly say it was the best decision I have ever made. Yes I was not looking forward to everything post op, but I am now 100% mobile and after not being able to walk any distances I now enjoy walking again and I've managed to lose 2.5 stones. Totally pain free and I've had lots of comments about how much happier I look - my face was obviously showing my pain. If you have any questions please ask!
