I have had terrible pain in the left side of my lower back the pain radiates into my buttock and sciatic nerve. I also have bursitis in my hip joint . Doctors don't seems to know where the pain is coming from but a relative has pain in the same place and has been told its her Sacroiliac joint. Anyone had similar the pain is driving me mad and keeping me awake
Is it tingling? If it is tingling, there could be a chance that it is a compressed nerve. You should do a nerve investigation via an electromyographyy (EMG)

I've had lower back pain that moves into waist both sides, extream paun in stomach. I had 3 courses of different strengths of antibiotics last August. Same again happend few months later. Recently had same extreme pains, hospital gave me paracetamol tablets & antibiotics. Within four days again pains. I started at a new practice & was told it may be your bowels are compacted. I have very strong antibiotics yet again & taking for first time Salofalk 1.5g, which are now working!

I, too, suffer from really bad pain in my sacroiliac joints and when I am out walking, it can be so bad that I have to stop and take some deep breaths to cope with it. As I also suffer with stomach and digestive problems, I am unable to take strong painkillers, which might alleviate it, so it’s just a case of putting up with it.
If anyone on here has found a remedy for this type of pain, I would love to hear about it
