The long walking I do, is every Sunday, a 45 minutes, each way to church, for Holy Communion and once a month I do the same walk for Evensong, top up on pain medication and a pain gel, to rub into my knees, before setting off, after the service, even though in pain, I'm always happier and sing out loud to the songs I listen to.

I’m walking to keep my fitness level up and try to walk more than 10,000 steps per day. Unfortunately I will have to reduce my steps for a while as I am undergoing surgery on Wednesday.
