Hello everyone, hope you’re doing okay today 😊

Has your sense of taste, smell, touch, or sound changed over the years, either because of illness, age, or treatment?

These small shifts can have a surprisingly big impact on daily life, from enjoying meals to noticing pain or temperature changes.

So we’d love to hear:

Have you noticed a dulling or sensitivity in your senses?

Has it changed the way you eat, move, or interact with your environment?

What adjustments have helped you cope?

It’s something people don’t often talk about, but it matters more than we realize.

Take care,

Somya from the Carenity Team 🌼

Hi , I will be 65 years young this year and have noticed slight difference in my hearing and sight . Being type 2 diabetic for over 12 years does not help as I feel small changes as I begin to age due to diabetes .

Yes quite a lot, with the repressive Laws over driving as a diabetic due to EU policies forced on us testing before driving is a irritant. But eyesight during night driving being deminished certainly puts you off. Pain my key sufferage thankfully is not affecting my driving, although does affect mobility and completing tasks. A new issue vertigo/dizzyness has made a difference on occassions when it returns, clearly no driving at that time. Big general illnesses are a big drag as we have custody of our grandchild, she brings home a new disease everyweek that can affect us badly, roll the school hols!
