Sometimes I feel very dizzy, get really bad headaches, find myself going off my food but other times I eat, if I don't eat a full meal, I always have a bowl of soup and 2 bread rolls it has to be gluten and wheat free as being a coeliac it's hard, other times I will eat a full meal and have a sweet afterwards, at the moment I have undergone a xray, ultrasound, loads of blood tests, I am now waiting to have a full body scan, I have had blood test at the surgery I have had plabotomy test at the hospital, now I'm waiting for an appointment for body scan, heamotology dept, and a appointment to see my consultant about my gaul stone surgery, as it was in my bile duct but now it shows in my pancreas, it is so worrying wondering if my cancer has gone somewhere else in my body I just wish my consultant can hurry up and tell me what they are going to do it's just the worry of waiting my ptsd is really playing havoc with me and that isn't helping my anxiety either it just seems to go on and on its been really hell this month.

Yes, both my wife and myself are now experiencing small falls or tripping very easily as we become old. We have taken no action to improve the situation/symptoms and accept it is part of getting old. Small issues like getting dizzy while showering if I close my eyes, does seem to be the norm of getting old. We have had plenty of family suffering these falls leading to mobility issues and moving to a care home. Our neighbour fell recently cracking bones in her back, she is now fully house bound and will never recover, her clock on her final countdown.

Hello everyone,
How are you doing today? 😊
Maintaining good balance is important for staying independent and preventing falls, especially as we get older. Falls are one of the leading causes of serious injury among older adults, but working on balance can help reduce the risk and keep us mobile for longer. And improving balance isn’t just for older adults, it’s helpful for everyone, from young adults to seniors, to prevent injuries and improve physical fitness.
What do you do to improve or maintain your balance?
Have you ever experienced a fall, and how did you handle it?
Would you be interested in learning simple exercises to improve balance?
