Hi all on carenity, hope you are all doing okay, I just want to know has anyone else had almost a permanent cold or flu since having their Covid jabs, I seem to be getting a cold all the time, and it's affecting me and my already health issues, I start a new exercise routine, and healthy eating, and I get a cold and it all goes out the window, can't eat, can't walk as I'm hurting so much, I would like to know if anyone else has had any symptoms from their Covid jabs?

Hello @flynnie, thank you for sharing with us, I've moved this discussion to our dedicated COVID-19 group for more visibility. I'm sorry to hear you're going through that! Have you asked your doctor about it?

Has anyone else had more recurrent colds or flu-like symptoms since you've had your COVID vaccine? If so, what types of symptoms have you had?

I've had all 3 jabs but no complaints with colds and flu.

I've remained healthy apart from the usual health problems I have.

I have a continual array of illnesses since I have taken over looking after my grand child, driving me nuts, just ended a bout of Covid. Just like my Uni days as a mature student, never without some bug or other. Do I feel it is related to Covid jabs, no, just mixing with the world through my grand child. Damage auto-immune issues is a pain in the butt we sick, lame and lazy have to put up with, is not getting old wonderful, stay safe!

No not had so much as a cold in two years. Both my hubby and myself seem to have catarrh all the time but think that might be due to wearing masks.

@flynnie Hi, sorry to see that you are suffering. We had no after-effects, in fact nurse was so good that I did not realise that she had done it.

I had no problems with my first jab of Astra Zenica.15 days after my second dose, I developed severe unbearable persistent headaches A&E headaches and very high blood pressure. Got checked out, had an MRI scan of the head to check out for clots formation and there were none. Since then I have developed auto immune condition. Can not be sure if it is due o the vaccine but I never had anything like that before. I have had my booster dose since then as well. Today I had an urgent MRI scan of my head and am awaiting result The auto immune condition is Polymyalgia and Temporal Arteritis Rheumatica and have been on large doses of Steroids causing several side effects.. I would love to find out if it is the vaccine that caused this condition, but i guess I will never know. I am suffering throbbing, pounding headaches all through the night despite the pain killers and only managing on 2 to 3 hours of sleep at night. I wonder if any one else had such experience. Please share it with me if any one else did have it. Thank you.
