Afresh New Year but I just feel dread.I'm still hanging on but am tired of doing so. I've got an appointment with the local mental  health team on Monday, I've been waiting about 5 months but previously they have made me feel like I'm wasting their time. So patronising I'm going to try and going with an open mind and hoping for help. I want to give up but I can't seem to let myself, I'm hanging on by a thread. I don't want to be all doom and gloom and can sometimes paint a face on but it's destroying me. Sorry everyone I just don't know what to do, again. I'm going round in circles. I managed to do Christmas but felt nothing, just numb

Hi @Tizzely‍ ,

Sorry to hear you are going through difficult times right now! I understand it can be harder during the holidays.

Have you tried talking to other members of the forum in the discussion groups dedicated to depression and chronic fatigue syndrom? I am sure you will get some support, because you are definetely not alone with your troubles, and our members can understand you very well!

Here is where you need to click to access your discussion groups related to your conditions: https://member.carenity.co.uk/forum/my-groups. Choose the group you are interested in, then choose the discussion you wish to take part in, or start your own one.

I hope you will get some help here on Carenity! If you have any questions regarding the site, please feel free to contact me.

And get better soon!

Kind regards,

Margarita
