Panic disorder is an emotional condition characterized by frequent episodes of panic or dread.

At times, anybody faces sensations of worry and panic. It's a normal reaction to stressful or potentially harmful conditions.

Yet, someone suffering with panic disorder experiences worry, tension, and panic on a regular basis and at any moment, frequently for no apparent cause.

Have you ever had a panic attack? What did it feel like? What helped you get out of that state?

Take care,

Polina from the Carenity team

Yes I have had panic attacks especially when I was feeling really scared ,having my life threatened, it is a horrible feeling it's like having chest pains that don't go away like having an angina attack it's a really horrible and very scary the more anxious I got the worse I felt I did have the paramedics out but when I seemed to calm down it got a lot easier and I felt less pain it is a really scary thing so now I have to be very careful this and ptsd and anxiety just adds more worry with my mental health Tigger
