Hi Waterford I'm recently after joining this website. I'm on tomoxifen since august. I know what u mean about the forgetfulness it's suppose to settle after a few months. I'm still waiting ?  I was just over the menopause and now heading for another ☹️  It's no wonder u feel like crap you are going through a lot. Everyone is different with the side effects. I have sweats no sleep leg cramps and worst of all thrush. I have counteracted all symptoms with supplements but the thrush is another story. Maybe talk to your oncologist again?? Keep positive. God bless

HI Waterford,

If I was you I would get yourself to your doctor and get signed off work. You will feel tired even more once you have radiotherapy. It is really hard what you are going through so be kind to yourself and get signed off. I have been through all this, only to have my cancer come back and spread. Be gentle with yourself. God bless.

Shirley.

Hi Shirley61

Thank you for reply ..I'm trying to keep going for as long as I can as it takes my mind off the way I'm feeling at the moment. I'm off work this wk cos I'm starting my first radiotherapy in the morning 4 wks 5 days so trying to get it over with up to Christmas and take some time off then ..I was in better shape wen I first was told I'd breast cancer & had surgery so I'm a fool to think the hard bit was over me .not a bit prepared for feeling like this ita getting harder instead of easier

Hi Waterford48,

I feel like that too at times, like it is getting harder, but then I seem to get a break and it's not so bad. I think the trick is to take each day as it comes, and deal with life in small bites. It's nice to know that you are not alone sometimes.

Have a peaceful Christmas and be kind to yourself.

Shirley61.
