Hi everyone,

I been feeling really down lately because before having Crohn's I used to be a really social butterfly. But Crohn's has turned me into a hermit :) I much prefer to stay at home and don't take the chance to have an incident among friends (or strangers for that matter).

Furthermore I experience a lot of pain and just don't have the energy to be social.

I would love to hear from others that struggle like me.

Hello Marcea67

Welcome, I've also been struggling with that a little bit. I'm new to this in the sense that I haven't been experiencing so many symptoms up until recently. At the moment I'm trying to find a routine that creates the least symptoms for me, maybe this can also help you.

Cheers

Hi Marcea

Life is not easy when you suffer from Crohn's!  It is very difficult and I find myself making all social arrangements around toilet facilities!  I only shop in stores with easily and quickly accessible loos and since I have had this flare up for over 16 months, I kind of know the times I will need to be near a toilet!  I am lucky in that I don't get pain but understand that that can bring your mood down and make you not feel like socialising at all.  As far as energy levels are concerned, I started on Herbalife meal replacement shakes because I was so limited in foods that agreed with me and since then I seem to be getting more nutrition and feeling generally better. You could try this and see if it helps.

Hello @KikiDado thanks for responding! I know what you are talking about, I've been daring to go out a bit more but it is always to nearby places where I know if there is a toilet or no, but I am tired of that, I would love to find a permanent solution!

Those Herbalife things where do you buy them? Are they actually good??? I've been juicing a lot to feel myself with vitamins and it is not that bad.

Cheers
