Hello everyone,

How have you been? I thought I would open this discussion so we can share our experiences of living with Crohn's disease!

So, what is the biggest challenge you face whilst living with Crohn's? Is it the pain, the fatigue, the digestive issues? Or is it something else? Have you had to change aspects of your daily life or routine because of it? How do you cope with these challenges?

@Courtney_J For me it's the unpredictable side of Crohn's that's the most difficult. Some days I'll be doing well and will feel "normal" if that's possible and then the next I'll be doubled over in pain not able to leave the toilet. I take my medicines and I take care of my diet, but some days it's almost unexplainable. It's no way to live.

Hi everybody, for me the hardest thing was, and is, to keep working. I am working part time now as I just couldn't manage a full time job with all that was going on in my life...crohn's, allergies and family issues on top of everything! But I am happy I got to keep my job, and avoid depression (I was on the brink of it then).
