@MissFibro I will contact the council but they're not great at these sort of things where I live and the teenagers here are more likely to take the TV! 
I have a cousin locally but I don't like to ask as he works full time and I'm too proud.

Does anyone know of any groups or schemes that help people with FIbromyalgia or CFS to get help with keeping their garden tidy? I
I recently moved from a flat to a 2 bed house with a small garden that has hedges and a small lawn and I am stuggling to get the energy up to do any weeding and general tidying. I got a hedge trimmer and a lawn mower for free and had the best of intentions to keep on top of the garden but I am struggling after several flares to even get the housework and cooking done (I also have a dog that needs walking too). My wife works full time and we've just found out that we are pregnant after 3 miscarriages so I don't even want to ask for her help and we had to move for her work so don't have available family close. I've thought about asking the local council for help (we live in Rotherham) but am worried they won't think I'm disabled enough (I don't actually feel worthy of asking) and will just brush me off.
That is the main issue with FIbro and CFS that differentiates it from other disabilities as you might well have the ability to do things just not the energy.
Any ideas anyone?
