Some days it's hard to wear a mask with my breathing but I try to muddle through. I think some of my trouble is "stress" or "panic" induced from having something over my nose and mouth. The disposable paper ones are easier for me. Someone else mentioned plastic clips you can use to keep the specs from fogging up and they've helped me. Stay strong everyone, there's light at the end of the tunnel!

There are many types of visors on eBay which are so cheap and choosing the right UK supplier you can get it quick. So if you are having difficulty with the mask, a visor could be the solution.

What are the plastic clips you mention to stop the glasses fogging up? I've not heard of that before.

I have brought expenses at the beginning. But it seems that after the vaccines it seems the basic package or free are just as good. Making for easier breathing. Making for easier to breathe in Summer.

I thought of visor clips, but I can only wear ”titanium” next to skin. So sticking to basic. Although I have 3m ventilation one's if needed.

I still use a mask for protection of covid even though I suffer with copd emphysema I have also had my booster jab but when I go into a shop or crowded place I still wear my mask as I feel as though I have to help others I do find it hard to wear but at least it is another protection as I know if i caught covid I wouldn't be able to fight it as I have two many illnesses to fight as it is especially my remission in breast cancer I still have a way to go

@Tinkerbel Sorry I missed your tag those months ago. My chemist was selling them for a while. Mine are smaller than this but they hold the mask under the specs so they don't fog. Here are similar ones on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Anti-Fog-Nose-Clip-Mask-Biodegradable/dp/B08XJTW42L
@Tigger.co.uk I'm the same way. When I'm out in open air and there's no one I don't wear one, but in shops and crowded places I do. The inconvenience is worth it to me if it keeps me from somehow getting it through the jabs and booster jabs.

I started on COPD Herbal treatment, the treatment worked incredibly for my lungs condition. I used the herbal treatment for almost 4 months, it reversed my COPD. My severe shortness of breath, dry cough, chest tightness gradually disappeared. Reach Ultimate Life Clinic via their website at [link removed by administrator for violation of community standards]. Having been trained in Nuclear and Chemical Warfare. A mask might help a bit like a plaster for all our kids to deal with. The moral to the story is if paper masks really helped. The Army would save a fortune..lol?

Hello everyone,
How are you today?
I thought I would open this discussion to talk about masks.
It can be difficult to adjust to wearing a mask when going out, especially for those with respiratory conditions like COPD.
Do you find it difficult to wear a mask? Does it aggravate or irritate your COPD? What do you do? Do you have any tips or techniques to make it more comfortable? Has your GP given you any advice?
