Exhaustion and over sleeping was one of my worst symptoms but on my first visit to the endocrinologist he referred me to the Sleep Aponea Clinic and i have been diagnosed with sleep aponea. now I sleep with a cpap mask and my life has been completely changed. I now have no problem getting up everymorning, no sign of the punch drunk exhaustion any more. Now I have the energy to take control of my diabetes, diet, walking etc and life is much improved. high blood sugar will cause exhaustion but perhaps ask your dr/ diabetes specialist for a referral. I did not snore but I was waking 23 times an hour, so definitly not getting any rest even though I seemed to be asleep.
