Hello!

A lot has been said about statins and the cholesterol control. For some it works really well and for others the side effects are just unbearable. But new studies are saying that they might not only cause nausea amongst other side effects, but it might be puting at risk patients with type 2 diabetes.

I invite you to read this article and share your thoughts with the community.

I have been thinking on this information for quite a while,,i was on statins long before anything occurred. Then following being back ended in a crash, things went wrong and I felt really unwell,,,so the tests reported that I was a Diabetic,,what a shock!.

I have read the reports and thought I might be someone who has had this happen to me,,,and I am not happy with this, could the 'benefits' be outweighed by the possible side effect of causing diabetes in some people???

Statins might not be the the drug for all,,,so we read on,,,do you stop taking them? or do you carry on?,,questions at every turn.
