Fibromyalgia is known to be a very difficult condition to reach a diagnosis for. Symptoms are very varied from person to person so it can be a long process to reach a definite diagnosis.
Fibro is also known for causing, sometimes bizarre symptoms that can change from one day to the next. Some patients have talked about a burning sensation in their tongue, excessive sweating...
So, what was your most unusual and unexpected symptom with fibro?

@JosephineO I could spend the day listing the various symptoms I have had. For one week I experienced a burning sensation in the palms of my feet. It passed and I never experienced it again.
Sometimes it feels like my skin is itchy but underneath my skin. It is very difficult to describe but it is very unpleasant and it wakes me throughout the night...

@JosephineO My partner has fibro and the one symptom he gets is extreme forgetfulness and brain fog. I have to set little reminders on his phone to remind him about appointments, medication etc! Where would he be without me? ;)

Getting more things apart from normal aches, brain fog, itching sore eyes, brain fog, sore bum if I sit too long but can't stand for long either! Apparently the fibro is eating my gums already lost one tooth gums are constantly sore. Finding it so frustrating as I've always really looked after my teeth. Forgetfulness, being extra clumsy, saying something and it comes out completely wrong. Definite mood swings and getting very hot and sweaty. That's it for now can't remember!! Gentle hugs xxx

Aside from the more widely known (and shared) symptoms, I have also had costochondritis (diagnosed by GP as being fibro-related). I have also lost 2 teeth due to grinding them (also attributed to fibro) and have plantar fasciitis.
