No do not believe it possible to use this type of ingredient to help with anything that is neurological. I have parkingsons my self and since childhood I have always eaten this type of ingredient including the use of black pepper and if this was the case then why was l Diagnosed 13 years ago then.

No I would not try it for my epilepsy even after 52 years with the neurological condition. I have too many allergies.

I have been using Turmeric supplements for some years now. I was drawn to it 6 years ago when I found a site on line called the Autoimmune Institute! I have found it quite successful in treating inflammation in the body, generally. It was combined with several other supplements also.

How are you today?
Turmeric has been used for centuries in traditional medicine, and more recently, scientists have been exploring whether curcumin, the compound that gives turmeric its yellow color, could also benefit the brain.
According to a 2024 review published in Frontiers in Pharmacology, curcumin may offer neuroprotective effects in diseases like Alzheimer's, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, and Huntington's. Researchers say it works on multiple levels: reducing inflammation, fighting oxidative stress, improving mitochondrial function, and even helping clear protein build-up in the brain.
But while lab and animal studies show promise, human trials are still limited and inconclusive. One big challenge? Curcumin is poorly absorbed by the body unless it's paired with something like piperine (found in black pepper) or delivered in more advanced forms like nanoparticles.
