Hello members,

Over the last year I have really enjoyed being your Community Manager. You have all inspired me with your stories of strength facing your different conditions and you have opened my mind through reading your discussions.

It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to you all. emoticon frown-big I wish you all the very best going forward and I hope you all continue using Carenity and finding it a useful support tool.

Dear Members,

I’ve had a wonderful time talking to you, learning from you and sharing with you over these past few months. But, the time has come to say goodbye. I’ll be pursuing other opportunities, but I’ll never forget all the lessons on resilience, strength and good humour in the face of difficulties that you have taught me. Hello Michael and good luck in your new role here, it is a welcome help to all of us, thank you. My name is Georgina and I have been diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer which has now progressed to the bones or so I am told by one hospital for another hospital to say there is a blur around this, so here I am totally confused now and not sure which way to go as far as treatment is concerned so I am taking a little break from the treatment and having a wee holiday with my grandson up to Lincolnshire to be with my family for a week or two before I moved forward with the next step. Sorry to see you go Michael, but you have to move on as per your ambition and i wish you good luck in your new venture.

Hello Courtney, I am Christina. I have had 5 Spinal surgeries with extensive metal work in my spine and am bent from my hips after the last surgery in 1915, and have been walking with 2 crutches ever since. I try to retain what mobility I have, so I go to the gym, do swimming and exercise at home too. I have a 83 year old husband with several medical issues, and I Have to stay strong to support him look after him

I wish you good luck in your new post and will look forward to getting to know you better as the time goes on.
