@MilliMolSorry to hear

@MilliMolS you are suffering so much. I had eczema on both my feet and i could scratch my feet off, they itches so much at night. i had to have  a comb on my bed side table at night to scratch my feet. I was given Mometazone Furate cream. It did not work very well at first but I persevered and eventually the itching stopped and the eczema cleared up. Sop persevere with the cream. Avoid all soaps. Have you been given oilatum Emolient to use instead of the soap? You can put it in the bath and use it as a soap on your body when in the bath. Hydrocortisone cream will help as well, but you have to use that sparingly and not over a long period of time. I am sorry I dont know anything about Porpholyx. You can use the moisturizing cram in abundance. Good luck

Michael,

I know that this forum helps many people who are living with the same disease ,but at either a different degree or stage and that is why I have contributed. but i also feel that sadly there are some people who may falsely claim to have these diseases, for their own reasons or because it males them feel good revelling in other unwell peoples illnesses. ( I realise that my words may upset some people, and if the do I apologise) I am simply stating my opinion, !not under the European human rights act.!

but as a veteran who served and would have died for my countries and its people's freedom from all anarchy . so as far as I am concerned, I have the rights to express my opinions without someone trying to tell me that I am wrong and have offended the either political correct or snowflake feelings,!!!  ""because I will simply ignore your messages""

sadly we live in country where some people think that it is fine to claim to have Cancer or other debilitating disease to make money out it. to them i say , you are welcome to take my spondylitis, ulcerative colitis , ischaemic heart disease and my Cancer (that was originally diagnosed as being clear, and eventually 3 months later, . which left me devastated, as Cancer has taken many of my family including my wife, brother sister, sister in law

Hi, As you say you are entitled to your views. I have only recently written on here. I must admit that I have never thought people would write about a faked illness. It has never entered my mind but if this is what some people do then I feel sad for them because if one has a real illness they would far rather be fit and well. I am pretty ancient at 75 but it is my body that is giving up not my brain thank goodness. I have an autoimmune disease which is fairly rare although becoming more common which is called CIDP (it is on the web if anyone is interested) and I also have Parkinson's which is obvious when looking at me as I have a very bad tremor and have difficulty swallowing. It has left me very disabled but I always think on the positive side and do everything in life that I can

I am sad to hear about your Parkinson's and how it affects you . I have a few friends living with Parkinson's and 1 of them now lives in a care home and has very little knowledge of what is happening around him, or what day it is. I remember him when I first met him over 10 years ago, he was strong and positive man, but over the years, his health has deteriorated. he lost his wife 3 years ago this coming January ( for me it will be 27 years since my wife Christine's death)

 going back to my previous topic about people faking illness to benefit, I have heard and read about people creating fake illnesses to benefit financially , from caring people, or to stop a marriage from breaking up. some will go to the extent of accepting donation a just giving page or other fundraising campaign.

 i wish you well and hope you have the best Christmas that you can, . for me it will be quiet, mainly due to the Covid19 restrictions where i live . stopping our normal group of friends meeting up
