Hi Michael,
i had Polio as an infant in 1947 and my osteoarthritis is a result of wear and tear on those joints I could use making adjustments for the muscles damaged by the polio virus. I need a knee replacement in my right knee but the surgeon won’t consider it because I have severe lymphoma in my legs due to poor circulation. A direct result of the polio. Thirty years of walking with crutches has left me with arthritis in my shoulders and elbows and this is now spreading to my hands. Hardly surprising as arms are not intended to carry out weight all the time.

Hello
I am a male aged 85 living with Parkinson's, diagnosed in 2012. I lost my wife to dementia with Lewy bodies in February this year. Now on my own. It's a swine!

Hello, good luck in this new role.
Sarah D r/r MS. Very boring really, DMD work very well for me. Only one relapse that defined diagnosis. Since then mostly normal life (thank goodness) so I really only hover over the website every now and again. But still grateful it is there for me.
Best wishes

Hi Michael, you are welcome and good luck. I'm sure you will be fine! I'm Irish and now live in Hertfordshire. I have been diagnosed with PMR at age of 46. I also have vasculitis and put up with the problems associated with long term steroid use. It sounds bad but I manage to work full time and cope ok with bad days.

@JamesP Hello James !
My husband suffered from Parkinson's for 13 years so I have some idea of how your life is just now. He also had Parkinson's related dementia. For you to have this devastating illness is bad enough, but to lose your wife to dementia with Lewy bodies is just cruel ! My thoughts are with you and I send warmest wishes for the future. Take care of yourself.

Hi Michael, welcome nice to meet you I like to be called Lin. I hope Josephine has a lovely live with all she does. We have moved from south Devon to Weston-super-Mare as it is more flat. It is lovely here and lots of walks for my dog Bella. My restless legs are playing up again so will have to see a doctor about it. Don’t know what the doctors are like but I hope they are nice as my anxiety will play up when I am introducing myself.
I would like to meet other people in our area that suffers with restless legs if there is anyone around Weston-super-Mare with this condition.
