I am a bit of a softie so a couple of my favourite films are:-
Patch Adams with the lovely Robin Williams. Maybe because I also wanted to be in the medical profession.
Then, there is 'It is a Wonderful Life' - box of tissues rqd for this one, if you are emotional but it also makes you think.

@Randa4 @twinkletoes Thank you both for sharing, you both picked great movies, even if "It's a wonderful life" is one of the saddest movies ever!

Well here in the UK I hope that Summer is starting not ending although you can never tell here. I have a few all time favourite films, Love Story, A Star is born (Streisand version), The Blind Side, and a whole load of other weepies but because I have such severe fatigue I can rarely stay awake for a film. I like a comedy too and I love School of Rock with Jack Black. Mostly I watch makeover shows like DIY SOS, 60 Minute makeover and Garden Rescue.

Now that summer is over (), we are staying more and more indoors and we will certainly spend lots of time watching TV or films.
I suggest that in this discussion we share our favourite films or films we have recently watched and that we can recommend. Let us discover the new films together or remember the old ones and share our impressions.
So, I will start with a film that I have recently watched: "Legends of the Fall" with Antony Hopkins, Brad Pitt and Julia Ormond. This film is sad, and at times tense, but it makes you think and re-think about relationship between people, expecially between family members. I could surely recommend it!
Now, it's your turn!
