Hello everyone,

How are you today? emoticon cute

I thought we could share together about family health history and your experiences with it!

So, for those of you who may not be familiar with the concept of "family health history", it is your general health record but also that of your family members (parents, siblings, grandparents, etc.)! It can help you and your doctor gain awareness of any potential risks to your health from hereditary conditions! This doesn't necessary mean that if someone in your family has a particular condition you will too, but since many conditions are influenced by genetics it is important that we be aware!

What do you think? Do you know your family health history? Has it helped you in any way along your health journey?

So sorry to hear that. I do hope that the specialist gives you urgent attention and makes the problem easier for you

Have you had a date for the operation yet? Good luck, and may God be with you

But was bad and unexplained

On the 05/10/21 i have a cardiogram/plus scanning around the heart.,

But the operation date is yet to be confirmed .

But with the infections and fluid build up is continuing and is affection heart .

@mikey4849‍

It is important for your infection to subside before the surgery, So wait patiently for the infection to subside. At least you have got the cardiogram and the scanning arranged, so there is some movements. Wish you good luck.

Thankyou for your advice i  know the infection must be taken care of before surgery.

But i wont stop the leg bleeding 24/7 as it is continue to do so as i am adding pads

around my ankle where the blood is being contained.

But problem so is as the blood build up its causing a severe bruising on the ankle which

may cause to break open so infection maybe reduced but continued bleeding goes on. and continues to

cause problems and a danger of ankle breaking open.

Yes have cardiogram plus scanning on the heart  in couple weeks but meanwhile the fluid build up continues daily which is adding pressure on the heart .So hope things will be done as soon as possible as hope the heart does not give out under pressure its a matter of wait and see. again thanks  Mike

You are treading on dangerous ground here. You need daily sterile dressings with pressure bandage done either in the OPD or a District nurse coming home to do it. You can not continue to bleed like this and increase the risk of infection worsening. Apart from that you are loosing so much blood and that is very dangerous. Please get urgent attention. It is not a matter of weight and see, you can not afford to wait. I am a qualified nurse, please trust me. Hope you get yourself sorted urgently. Good luck.

I recently had an operation to remove an ovarian cyst on my right ovary.

I'm almost back to being able to move without pain.

I had my operation on the 04/02/22.

I'd had to stay hospital longer than what the surgeon thought I would as the surgeon thought that I would only be overnight at least after my operation, but my temperature was raised whilst I was in recovery, which meant I had an infection, so I had to stay in hospital until the 06/02/22 so that I could be given IV antibiotics.

I was given antibiotics in tablet form on the day I was discharged from the hospital.

I was also given pain relief and some more of my antidepressants as the nurse who was looking after me had noticed that I was running low on my antidepressants.
