Hello everyone,

How are you today? emoticon bashful

Who hasn't heard on countless occasions that breakfast is the most important meal of the day? The idea that this first meal ensures that we have plenty of energy for the entire day has become well ingrained in our minds.

What about you? Are you a breakfast person? What are the benefits to breakfast in your opinion? What do you usually eat?

Let's share together below!

Take care,
Courtney

I can't stand breakfast and the only reason I am forced to eat something is due to the array of tablets I have to take with food. Coffee is fine but food given a choice would not be something I enjoy. With crack of dawn awakening straight into work I would consider a large full English ready for a hard days work. Reality check, I am retired, no longer part of the rat race so no big breakfast, just simple toast to take my medicine!

Hello everyone,

It seems like most of you prefer drinking tea in the morning. What about other drinks? Do you also treat yourself to a smoothie once in a while?

And what about water? Do you start your day with a glass of water or is it tea/coffee straight away?

@Courtney_J ... I drink a glass of warm water with my first lot of meds in the morning.

Only then do I have a cup of tea, then coffee later.

My meds are always taken with a glass of water, ie 3 glasses and more daily.

I would never miss my breakfast! I think it's my favourite meal of the day, to be honest. And the most hearty one as well! I like having different things for breakfast every day, it may be sausage and eggs, porridge, muesli, yoghurt, fruit, fried veggies, omelette with veggies, etc etc. I always take my time preparing and then eating my breakfast, and as I get up early, I don't have to be in a hurry.

and as @lesmal I start my day with a glass of warm water, and I take a cup of tea afterwards, with my breakfast.
