Just don't know how to cope with this desease, mind blank then racing then suicidal and intrusive thoughts all the time, legs and arms burning, neck and shouders so stiff, ringing in ear, head in a bubble being squeezed from the inside out, trembling inside, crying, no concentration. My god i feel like i am dying slowly.😢😢

Hi Courtney. My depression affects my mood and confidence I put on a face to the rest of the world and even my family but for me that's my protection. As I have already spoken about my depression started when I was bullied and it has and still affects me now I feel I will always have the scars of what the bullies done and how they made me feel. And it has played a big part in my life and relationship with friends and family. It's a long road I have been on and still on now every day is and can be a challenge but I write so much now and the writing has been my saviour and the pen and paper have become my friend or doesn't let me down and is always there for me and it's help me tremendously with my feelings and emotions I still keep the mask on but am learning that maybe one day I can take it of and reveal the true me and be happy and confident in my skin.

At the moment I have a couple of physical health things going on and my mood has really dropped. Usually I can put on a happy face and just get on with things. We all do, right? At the moment I just can’t lift myself out of it but I know it won’t last. I’m trying to keep to a normal day and do the things I like because I know I’ll start enjoying them again. I really don’t want to resort to medication so I’m remembering the better times and aiming to get back there

@Nessie1940   hi Nessie I also lost my dad 7months ago he was battling cancer he was my best friend also I totally understand about the family thing I did everything for my dad and he also passed away at home with me and my mum I also wish my siblings would do more and reach out to me also. But it is always so one sided so I try and motivate myself to just focus on myself now and be more mindful of my emotions thank you for sharing always here if you need to talk stay strong your mum will be so proud of you and also watching over you .
