Anyone that could offer advice on how to disclose to a new partner? Any experiences people would like to share? When is appropriate? Much Appreciated!

hi, I just say it straight away, when the relationship becomes serious. It's better to be honest and to tell them at the beginning then to hide it away or to try to win some more time. most of the people I told about my hiv stayed. The ones who left well it's understandable they are afraid. That made me sorry but not angry.

@Courtney_J I used to try to wait and "feel out" the relationship and see if it was going somewhere serious because I was embarrassed and was afraid of being put down. Now I'm open about it and don't try to hide it. I'm not ashamed anymore. But I think it depends on the person. Do what you need to do to feel and stay safe. Though I do agree that you should tell them if you plan on being intimate.
