I've created this discussion to give us a space in our obesity community to talk about anything and everything, share how you are feeling, introduce yourself and talk about some lighter topics!

For example, what is your story? What is your favourite little pleasure of the day? What do you do for leisure?

You are free to share on just about everything here! So please don't hesitate!

Take care,
Courtney

@Courtney_J Hello, I originally joined this site for information about depression because I have several family members who are affected by it, but then I decided to start using it for me too. I've struggled with my weight since I was a girl, and now it's to the point that I fear I'm developing arthritis or something in my knees.  But anyway, I love to garden and I manage to keep doing it despite my knees, I just find other ways to do things! Hope all are well xx

@CJames I feel the same. I've always had trouble with my weight as well. To the point that I developed diabetes. I've tried through the years to lose weight but nothing really works, or something will work for a time and then I gain all the weight back again. It's been hard and some days I don't recognise myself anymore in the mirror.

@elizabethmary I have diabetes too. I've been big my entire life. I feel like such a failure. The only time I've ever really been able to lose weight is when I had the stomach flu when I was younger. I'm at the end of my rope.
