Iāve taken to aqua therapy at my local pool, itās been arranged by an NHS referral programme to assist those with any medical condition and Iām not only finding the benefit of movement in the water but that if the friendship in the group. Weāre even going out for Christmas lunch. Weāve become really good friends. So itās a big win for me. Itās a places leisure centre if anyone has a centre nearby.

I put it down to the menopause to be honest; I'm either shivering or sweating buckets!

Have you ever noticed heat sensitivity or intolerance with your RA? Definitely like right now I'm heating up just below my ears on my neck, happens on a regular basis for no reason.
How do you stay cool and manage uncomfortable heat when it strikes? I use breathing exercises a lot and distraction techniques (deep breaths, have a drink, music & books)

Hey everyone, how have you been feeling lately? š
We often talk about pain, stiffness, and fatigue with rheumatoid arthritis, but what about those of us who seem to overheat more easily than others?
Some members in our community have shared that they feel constantly warm or experience intense waves of heat, even when others around them are perfectly comfortable. For some, this shows up as night sweats, heat in the hands and feet, or just feeling drained in warmer weather.

This isnāt something many doctors talk about, and the research is still catching up, so your story might really help others feel less alone.
Looking forward to reading your thoughts š¬
