I wanted to bring this discussion back because worrying about how rheumatoid arthritis might change over time can be difficult, both for people living with RA and for their loved ones. And because everyone's experience can be so different, hearing from people who have lived with RA for several years can be particularly reassuring and helpful.

@rainbow768, I hope your mom is doing well and that she's been able to find some reassurance since you first posted. @YorkshireJayne, thank you as well for sharing your experience of living with RA since your twenties. If you're both still around, we'd love to hear how things have been since then.
