Yes totally, for opening things, even for typing. It is crazy how we don't value small tasks like those when we have all our health. Now I have to be humble and ask for help and change my interests to less manual things.

Most definitely, I am unable to undo jars without gadgets to help. I have trouble getting out of cars without another little gadget that has recently hit the market. Another problem is opening the front door without the help of another gadget. I am known in the family as Mrs Gadget.

Oh yes, I too need a gadget for opening jars and I can't use a tin opener anymore, but my biggest problem is those pull off tops, I do have to use my teeth to get them off. I have replacement joints in two fingers of my right hand but still they won't bend very much.

I have great fun with silly things and since I now have carpel tunnel syndrome as well as arthritis in my hands gadgets don't always do it for me . I find ways round things but hate these forms that ask all these stupid questions about how do you do this or that as I can't actually explain I just get on with it the best I can
