Hello everyone,
How are you doing?
Rheumatoid arthritis, like most chronic conditions, can challenge aspects of life and make one feel frustrated. I thought today we could discuss these challenges.
What is the biggest daily challenge you face whilst living with RA? Is it the pain? The fatigue? Is it hard getting up in the morning and doing your normal tasks? Have you had to change aspects of your daily life or routine because of your RA? How do you cope with these challenges?

I was not aware that the lock down has ceased....still shut away at home ...tried to get a Drs appointment but ended up seeing a health worker after interrogation by the receptionist having to discuss private matters.
no one is really listening at all..with problems throughout my body the pain during the last week has been unbearable .
Previously was doing reasonably well and coping unable to return to hydrotherapy as yet and is soul destroying after the work I put into getting well.
unable to walk much distance and finding life very difficult . Being a pensioner and shut of from the world with no help gets harder every day.

Trying to cope with the situation. The pain and stiffness is the worse. Fibromyalgia is an added issue painful muscles including occipital neuritis and blepharitis just to put the cherry on the cake but one day at a time, there is another day tomorrow. Keep safe.

2 years ago my left knee decided to dislocate itself whilst I was cycling ~extremely painful. I before this my right knee was playing up a lot painful all the time achy sore but didn't seem to be a RA thing.
In the past year my right knee has got worse as has my right hip and I think the tendons and muscles on my right leg are extremely tight as well.. making movement all the more difficult.
It's been gradually getting harder and harder for me to walk around under my own steam and has been especially difficult when trying to get away in our touring caravan I used to love to walk I can't manage that much now and I feel it's affecting my relationship with my husband. I yes I do have a wheelchair and yes I hate to use it for me it's an absolute last resort.
A physio appointment around my area ~well I think I'll be better off plaiting fog! I decided to help myself with ~ go online, I looked up some easy to do exercises while sitting and laying down. Ok I've only just started them in the last couple of days.
I've got about 4 weeks until our next 3-night trip away wish me luck everybody with my mobility. I have
