Hello everyone,

I am posting on behald of @GloriaG‍ as she has some questions she would like to ask you all :)

"Dengue Fever Haemorraghic has similar symptoms to AS, but much worse. Has anyone experienced this, please message me. I am desperate to get better so I can take a long needed holiday in two weeks. Any quick remedies would be much appreciated. Sick as a dog right now."

Does anyone have any suggestions for her? Please share

Hello, I'd just like to tell you about haemorragic Dengue Fever which is, at the moment spreading in Indonesia where I live. I actually live in a somewhat remote area of north Bali and run a small hospital for the poor. Where we are seeing many patients with suspected Dengue. Dengue Fever is spread by the bite of a type of mosquito. There are four types of dengue Fever but I got one of the more serious ones. Had a massive bleed from the intestines as I hobbled to the toilet thinking it was a bout of gastro, which can happen with A.S. I estimated the amount of blood loss to be in excess of 600mls.   My daughter called an ambulance and I was taken to hospital where I was given blood tests and put on a drip to improve my platelet count which was very low, a sign of Haemorraghic Dengue. Body aches and fever are often associated with A.S. so it was confusing to the doctors. After five days I went home. My daughter also caught the disease but not so seriously. I lost four of my front teeth, have rashes like A.S. but these are specifically due to Dengue and all over muscles and joint pain. I couldn't walk before this and am more or less confined to a wheel chair now the situation with my health is more serious. I need some advice please...or just a friend to talk to. Thank you for listening...Gloria
