I never tried spinal protection braces before. But in the past five years I work in cold environment(5 to 10°C) for 8-12 hours a day. So I use a waist protector belt, a.k.a. motorcycle kidney belt. Working on cold expedition, walking, transporting goods, sometimes lifting makes it useful. I don't need it all year round but more 7-8 months it helps me a lot. Helps a lot for me. I am pretty new with my condition, should I leave the work in cold area and search for something warmer maybe or does not matter that much? Anyway, have a great day everyone. ;)

Hi everyone 👋
For those living with ankylosing spondylitis, managing stiffness, pain, and posture can be a daily challenge, especially when symptoms flare. Some people explore tools like back braces for added support, but opinions can vary widely on whether they actually help or just get in the way.
🦴 Have you ever used a back brace to manage your AS symptoms?
💬 Did it help with posture or pain relief, or did it feel uncomfortable or limiting?
📌 Are there specific types of braces or supports you've found helpful?

Your experience could really help others who are considering trying one. Let’s share what’s worked, and what hasn’t.
Take care!
