I’d be really interested to hear your thoughts. Have any of you tried reducing salt or using a low-sodium alternative to help manage your blood pressure?

Hi everyone ❤️
When you have high blood pressure, one of the first pieces of advice you may hear is to reduce salt.
But newer research is also looking at another possibility: replacing some regular salt with potassium-enriched salt.
Potassium can help with blood pressure regulation, and some salt substitutes contain less sodium and more potassium.
However, these products are not suitable for everyone, particularly some people with kidney problems or those taking certain medicines, so it is important to check with a healthcare professional first.
💬 What do you think?
Would you consider changing the salt you use if your GP or pharmacist said it was suitable for you?
With care,
Razar from the Carenity team 💖
