only in my big toe
I have it in all my toes and it's really worrying me. My gp keeps shrugging it aside sauing I'll be fine. Any afvice would be welcome
Im a type 2 diabetic and I'm on insulin and I have neuropathy, been diagnosed with it in both feet and hands, I take pregabalin for the pain. Its the pins and needles, the numbness, the loss of sensation, the pain. It sounds silly using pain and numbness in the same sentence but that's the only way to describe it. The sensation is going up my legs now, I also have lymphedema in my legs. My friend calls me the living dead as my hands and feet are always absolutely freezing. I've lost my grip in my hands. The pain is constant and never goes away. Try and talk to your doctor about your symptoms, hope you get some relief x
I had uncontrolled Diabetes for just under 3 years. My GP tried me on all sorts of drugs but my HbA1c never dropped below 100. I was eventually put on Gliclizide at 320mg and my HbA1c dropped down to 50 which was great. Unfortunately this revealed the damage to my legs and I suffer terribly, some days I can barely walk as the pain is so bad.My GP has put me on 600mg of Pregablin a day and 300mg of Tramadol when the pain is really bad. If I don't take my medication the pain feels like my legs have been beaten with a hammer and they feel like they are bleeding. I have good days and bad days and am now just beginning to get in a routine with my medication for maximum relief.
