I have recently been diagnosed with Diabetes type 2.

I would like to ask does it depend on the score I had my bloods done and I was told my score was 57.. and that anything over 48 would be classed as being Diabetes 2..

I am 56 and type 2 diabetic. I only leave My flat for a short walk. I am eating sweet things so bloods high. I was 76 on my last three monthly blood test.

Is there any ideas out there about whether someone in my condition would only get mild symptoms or if I more likely end up on a ventilator

As diabetics from the statistics coming from China and elsewhere we have twice the death rate compared to normal people. China diabetics 7.8% death rate with Covid-19 but the normal people around 3-4%, survival rates are better in the UK. But the biggest issue claimed in Britain at the moment is being overweight as the worst case and of course those with multiple issues. You want to avoid the ventilators because if you are on them more than two days you outcomes very slim. Better the CPAP with oxygen less evasive and much better outcomes plus they don't put you in a coma like the ventilators. Hi hopes with the device the F1 group have come up with as results have supposed to be very good, stay well!
