How are you today?
I thought I would open this discussion so that we could all get to know one another better!
So, let's talk about your experiences with type 2 diabetes! How and when were you diagnosed? What symptoms did you have before your diagnosis? How long have you had it? How are you doing today? Are you motivated to take control over your diabetes?

@Courtney_J Hi Courtney, both my husband and I have diabetes, and we were both diagnosed in our early 50's after neglecting our health and diet for many years. We make quite the couple! My husband is a bit more worse off than me because he had some problems with his blood pressure which we think caused his diabetic nephropathy. I also have high blood pressure, but I'm working on lowering it through diet and exercise. It's been hard for us both, especially in lockdown, but we're doing our best! :)
It is the unpredictable swings in my bloods which I find the most frustrating. Eat the same things each day but don't get the same readings. Thankfully I am managing to lose some weight during the pandemic and for that I am thankful
