Hello everyone,

How are you today?

Medical conditions often come with several medical devices, pills, extra equipment that most others do not have to carry or manage on a daily basis.

What about you? Do you have a special way that you organize your meds or equipment? How do you remember when to take what? What is your favorite "find" or trick that may help someone else?

Feel free to post links or pictures!

Take care,

Lizzi from the Carenity team

@Somya.P my husband helps me with my pills he sorts them out for me because sometimes I forget which ones to take so he gives them when I am supposed to, if he didn't I don't think I could manage to do them myself, also he puts them in order so I know when and how to take them, and what time, when you suffer with mental health it's confusing at times I don't know what I would do without him, he is my rock,

I have my main ones delivered in a dosette box, the opioids come separately so they are in a tin for taking with my dosette box meds, the remainder of those are in a storage box in the top cupboard, so not easily reachable for any little hands...not that we have many these days! My Oramorph is in my bedside table, because breakthrough pain is mainly at night. I also have a small pill box in my handbag for any days out where it's meds time while we're out.

I organise my daily medication weekly, in pill boxes morning to night, 7 days at a time, 3 weeks in advance. I've always got an emergency supply available to ensure I'm covered at the right time. I'm on 11 medications in total and it takes some planning to get them organized. I don't rely on the pharmacy to do the sorting; I do it myself then I know what I'm taking.
