I'm exactly the same I fall asleep around half eight on the chair for the odd hours then when I go to bed I'm tossing and turning all night with the pain in my hips and legs. I keep wondering if the cancer has gone to my bones as my right hip gives way and my left knee. My gp is hopeless gave me a leaflet for depression what a laugh!! I don't suffer from depression just worry and he doesn't seem to understand the pain I'm in

@alicat breathing is such a normal every day thing no one ever thinks about it until you have problems with it and you realise just how a major part to living it is, with breathing problems everything else is effected walking, talking, eating every activity we just automatically do plus the added activities we would like to do hiking  dancing, gym  etc all so effected by that little everyday thing we take for granted breathing

I so do know how you feel but for me I can handle the breathing and still have a life it's all the added extras I can't handle

You take care and I hope you can soon find some relief 😌

@Maggie-mae thank you for your comment, the one real thing I miss is being able to dance the night away as I used to do.

I do cope with the breathing, I still do a lot of things around the house and I'm fine walking as long as it's on the flat but slight inclines do get to me.

I'm going on holiday soon and have been told I will need oxygen on the flight so that will be a new adventure emoticon bashful

Anyway you take care too.

@alicat oh to dance 💃the night 🌙away, now I can even remember the last time I danced.....Saturday 24th November 2012😊it was my wedding day to my very lovely husband. The OA was quite rampant in my right knew and I was waiting for my date for surgery.

Surgery date 7/2/13 07.30am waiting for the anesthetist to come along after 10minutes of seeing him he cancelled the op! Oh how I cried, I had been an asthmatic since child good I never let it stop me from doing anything and now it was stopping this.

The rest as they say is history, the OA is in both knees back feet hands fingers neck, I've had a stroke the asthma had grown COPD and my bp is through the roof, like you Alison I would love to dance 💃the light fantastic

if you have to have oxygen to fly so be it you just have a fabulous holiday xxx 😍 Sonia x
