I still try to do my best and, with the help of my Carer(sI I try to still try and do things for myself in my daily routines, which are washing up and making my bed and dusting my furniture. I am moving very soon because of urgent medical need and priority band B.

Thank you to those who have already shared — your words are so honest and powerful. For anyone who hasn’t posted yet, it’s never too late to join in.
What’s one thing about your illness that people don’t see? It can be something small, a feeling, or even just an emoji — anything that gives a glimpse into your daily life. And for those who have already shared, has anything new come up this week that you’d like to add?
Opening up, even a little, can make a huge difference for others who might feel alone. Let’s keep this safe space going. 💬
Have a great day,

@happylad1970 Thank you for sharing that, I can imagine how challenging that must be when so much of daily life involves reading or writing. 💛 It really takes a lot of resilience to get around the world with limited sight. Are there any tools or aids that have helped make things a bit easier for you, like screen readers or large-print resources? It might be nice to hear what’s worked for you.

@mjteddy You’ve summed up something so many people with chronic conditions can relate to,how even “normal” tasks can feel exhausting. Do you find that planning your errands for certain times of day helps at all? Or do you prefer to rest and tackle them only when you feel up to it?

Hey everyone, how are you doing today?
Chronic illness often hides in plain sight. There are symptoms we can name… and then there are the parts no one sees:
🧠 This week, we want to open space for what so often goes unspoken.
👉 Finish this sentence in your own words:
“One thing no one sees about my illness is…”
You can write a sentence, a short thought, or just drop an emoji if that’s what feels right. There’s no pressure to explain or perform. Just know you’re in a space where people get it.
💙 Your story might help someone feel less alone today. We’re listening.
Take care,
Somya from the Carenity team 🌼
