@MadPanda my grandson 23 tested positive for covid no symptoms whatsoever gave it to his brother 21 he had a heavy cold and all the family had to isolate he stayed in his bedroom. Its the young who are spreading it as they think they wont get it.

@Sandie7... I hope your grandson and his brother are feeling better now, and they weren't too seriously infected. Thinking of them during this time, and @robjmckinney as @Sandie7 has said, the young are just as capable of spreading it so am glad your daughter had the sense to have her vaccination done in the end, especially as she is a carer to your wife.

Hi, I had my Covid jab a few weeks ago, the Pfizer one. Apart from having a sore arm on the day I had no ther side effects. No date for my 2nd one, so it's a matter of waiting for the gp's surgery to get in touch.
My poor daughter had the astra Zenaca one yesterday and feels really ill.

I had the astra zenaca one, I didn't get a sore arm which I do with the flu jab, but I did feel rubbish for 2 days. I was burning up and actually had a temperature, ached all over and felt like I had flu. I would go through it all again, it's a small price to pay to get a life back and not live in fear of covid.

@Courtney_J I’m amazed anyone is concerned. It has to meet much higher standards than the rubbish that is sprayed on our food or is in our food. I’ve had my first jab. My boss has long Covid and he’s gone from being fit and healthy to being ill all the time

Got my vaccine yesterday (Astra-Zeneca) and I feel like I have full blown flu not felt like this in a long time. Arthritis is even more painful it’s like it doubled overnight. How long does this last?

Hello everyone,
How are you today?
The pharmaceutical groups Pfizer (USA) and BioNTech (Germany) announced on Monday 9 November that their vaccine candidate is 90% "effective" in preventing Covid-19 infections, according to preliminary results of their large-scale phase 3 trial, which is still ongoing.
What do you think about this? Do you plan to be vaccinated as soon as the COVID-19 vaccine is on the market?
Feel free to discuss and share in the comments below!
Take care,
Courtney
