Hi everyone,
Awhile ago I had made my decision to not have the vaccine a decision based on the researching I have done. Applause those who have had the vaccine, but these are worrying times ,my daughter had her first jab and was very poorly for a week with vomiting and high fever, she is 23 years old and is now refusing to take her second jab.

Well just had a wake up call as we met with our grandaughter since she returned to school. Straight away, we end up with a heavy cold clearly showing what a breeding ground schools are for passing on disease to families. No doubt a real issue for many as the children returned to school and will increase the spread of Covid. While she has not been going to school, no diseases and we had no issues. So Covid now had our first jab is less of a threat but the regular colds and flu will dog us for many months, not something I missed, clearly a returning misery.

yes indeed. You should have the vaccine, as you can get get Covid again and it can be worse than the first time. So don't be afraid. It is advisable for all previously Covid infected to be vaccinated. So go ahead without reservation when you are called. You might have some immunity from having suffered it, but may not be enough. he vaccine will boost it up.

I’ve just had my invite to book my second Covid jab I was not too bad after the first just tired for 3 days. I know people who had it worse. I’m phoning to book my second tomorrow and I had the Oxford AstraZeneca jab so I’ve read that unlike the Pfizer it’s not worse on the second one

Hi I am due to be called for my 2nd Dose of AZ vaccine in a week or so. Please let me know how your 2nd dose went and if you had any side effects from it. From my first one, all I had was mild fever of 37.5 and sore arm on day 2. Nothing else otherwise. Good luck for your 2nd one

Hello everyone,
How are you today?
The pharmaceutical groups Pfizer (USA) and BioNTech (Germany) announced on Monday 9 November that their vaccine candidate is 90% "effective" in preventing Covid-19 infections, according to preliminary results of their large-scale phase 3 trial, which is still ongoing.
What do you think about this? Do you plan to be vaccinated as soon as the COVID-19 vaccine is on the market?
Feel free to discuss and share in the comments below!
Take care,
Courtney
