Hello everyone,

How are you today?

The pharmaceutical groups Pfizer (USA) and BioNTech (Germany) announced on Monday 9 November that their vaccine candidate is 90% "effective" in preventing Covid-19 infections, according to preliminary results of their large-scale phase 3 trial, which is still ongoing.

What do you think about this? Do you plan to be vaccinated as soon as the COVID-19 vaccine is on the market?

Feel free to discuss and share in the comments below!

Take care,

Courtney

@mr chipps‍... Ouch! I hope you are feeling a bit better today and that your mouth isn't too sore.

I understand your view on blood thinners as I'm also on Aspirin and get many nosebleeds and bruise easily. Unfortunately due to anti-epileptic medication, especially Phenytoin, I've had to have a few teeth out in the past and have regular gum problems.

Please take care and yes, this is minor, compared to so many with a terminal illness and those that have lost their loved ones.

Hi Les . I hope that you are well. Im taking blood thinners apixaban, because i had 3 blood clots in each lung 3 and half years ago and like many people of our mature age I'm taking aspirin .

I get lots of bruises from the slightest knock or pre4onmy skin and from blisters. Its the blisters that can be worse for me, as they break and bleed badly

I like many hate having teeth out , as they affect our ability to chew comfortably .

Yes im glad that my illnesses arent terminal, but i am constantly checking my health and stools for blood, ive also been told that my ulcerative colitis could become cancerous

Have a good weekend. Have you been offered a date for a booster covid jab . Regards keith

@mr chipps‍... I'm currently only on Aspirin but was on Clopidogrel and Aspirin after my brain aneurysm surgery. Bruising and nosebleeds were worse then.

My doctor advised he would let us know when the booster covid vaccination was due... I've had flu vaccination in the meantime. I'm sure it won't be long before the doctor makes an appointment for us to have the booster done.

Look after yourself and keep as well as possible.

Hi Les i hope that you get your booster soon. My friend has been for hers this afternoon . When i had my flu jab i asked at the doctor's about the booster and was told . That its down to the NHS to sort it out not the doctors?

So im simply going to be patient and see what happens?

I have been messaging a mate who used to play Santa   in the same grotto as me  he also did film extras and played Jack sparrow, but he says that covid has killed everything for him?  I have told him i need to find out if i can still play santa 🎅 and makes families and kids happy?

Have a good evening and weekend.  Keith

@hayley64 Hope you are back to full health, you are lucky not to be called a conspiracy theorist, for questing what the vaccines have done to you, No doubt in time information will emerge about the side effects of the [Content moderated by an administrator] All the doctors who claimed that the swine flu vaccine was safe all turned silent when the vaccine was withdrawn due to the damage it did to young people who were brain-damaged for life..

@hayley64 Sorry to read that, have spoken to people who were vaxed and swore they will not go for a booster jab Some have never recovered their energy and are tired all the time. My mother in law died within days of her second vax. My brother in law weeks after getting vaxed , suffered breathing problems and died sudden  26% of nurses in Irish hospitals are out sick due to side effects and getting the virus even after being double vaxed. Thankfully some doctors have spoken out. Pfizer has given money to our health service. and there is always a reason when a company "donates " money  a payback somewhere along the line The Irish Times reported
Drug firms give €3.7m in financial support to hospitals
Payments cover sponsorships, event fees, donations and grants to 33 HSE hospitals

@hayley64 We have all different d,n,a and fingerprints So it is bound to happen that the [content moderated by an administrator] vaccines would be harmful to people and cause some to suffer serious side effects or death. Of course, they are people who would deny this and tell you it is just a coincidence. I am allergic to penicillin and had to be prescribed a different medication. People thankfully had no side effects from [content moderated by an administrator] vaccines. Another friend in the hospital  with covid is double jabbed, we were told this morning

Wish you well Hayley . As for donations to the government all the major 3 vaccinations are made by companies donate to the Tory party .

What we put in our body should be a personal choice. In today's world where scientists are paid by governments and others censored the science isn't even clear . [this content has been moderated by an administrator. It doesn't stop you getting the virus being vaccinated, yet still anyone is hesitant is being treated like social outcasts too often .

I could put a link up of the tory minister's and donations from all the big 3 vaccine providers but I've a feeling it'll be censored.¡

Remember it, s still your body and supposedly your choice on vaccinations and there's many reasons why [this content has been moderated by an administrator]

Us older folks are supposed to be mature and responsible enough to make our own choices. I personally think it's awful parents are encouraging youngsters to take the vaccinations. They've perfectly good immune systems don't need interference!
