Hi there,

How is everyone today?

It has been a while since we've had an active discussion about ankylosing spondylitis and I want to see how you all have been doing!

Do you notice a change between seasons? What about with increased humidity? Has your ankylosing spondylitis gotten better or worse? Have you been doing any therapies to help?

I'll tag both our newer members and some more experienced ones to get the conversation started:

@WhiteWolf @BakuBunny @Wafaa.elhoucini @CaryHutton @krystalrosen @Cokecan222 @Glenn1275GT @fiala56 @thedavid @liamjcross @CynthiaC @MPWOLRAC @geronimo1 @Peterem @JackyQ @ZANITOR @tcmmcm @Juliewulie1957 @Stevewestbury @MartinOD @Paulphi @Lucan0813 @Hurricane @Lulu_33 @jennyb28 @michellelanham9 @Sprinkles

Take care,

Lizzi

Hi there,

my body tells me when the weather is changing, as the air gets cooler or more humid, my arthritic hips and my AS certainly let me know. In the autumn/winter the pain levels get much higher. It always comes as a surprise, as during the spring/summer the pain lessons and In my mind I have forgotten how bad the previous winter was...

I wish I had therapies that helped, I have Naproxen and slow release morphine and while they do help with the base level of pain, it is very debilitating when the weather changes.
