Hello Debbie77, how are you doing? I'm in deep depression with anxiety and stress This is my worse time of year with build up to Christmas. I have fibromyalgia plus many other health probs and am struggling physically and mentally, also have social anxiety so stay in bed as much as poss and only ever leave the house if absolutely necessary. I've lost most of my friends because of mental health and family don't understand or should I say don't want to understand. I'm sorry I've ended up having a rant!

I do have a good sense of humour and really enjoy a good laugh or joke, I'm not all doom and gloom lol x

Hi Madnan,

I totally get what you said about losing friends and family. I have also, but I'm well right now. Medication is good and my head is in the best place its been in for a very long time. I know this time of year is rough, but just keep popping on here, and I'm almost certain there will always be someone to cheer you up  !!

Love Deb

Xx

I have attempted suicide a few times and have been saved yet after many years them thoughts still go through my mind every time I become depressed. I now manage, I have more to live for, but I think on day if things go really bad I don't know what I'd do and it's scary.

Stu.

Hey Stu,

I have had those thoughts too and actually sat there and planned it, in my head of course. I don't know what stopped me, maybe its the thought of I won't die and at that time that is all I wanted. But now I'm feeling good again, I'm so glad I didn't go through with it. This time of year is a very common time for suicide and its so sad. Please keep coming on here Stu and Leebee, your never on your own !

Thanks Debs, this is a painful time for me, I've lost so many family over the years I'm now starting to ignore Christmas and can't wait for it to be all over. And I know I'm not the only one like that it's a shame we couldn't all go away together and have a non Christmas, Christmas holiday lol.

Christmas is for kids and it's there time to enjoy themselves, and when my children were young I did my best for them to enjoy it when it was the last thing I wanted.

Deb's I'm glad if that's the right word that I'm not the only one that feels that way. Every time I'm Ill it's all I think about and I know this is a horrible thing to say for those who have lost some one but I once told some one, I wished I could catch cancer so I'd have no say in the matter and it would leave my family sort of feeling better that I hadn't took my own life. Sorry if that sounds wrong for so many reason but when these thought's come there's no way of stopping them.

Best wishes and love to every one,

Stu xxx

On the way out of a fairly brief "black dog" and feeling far more positive. I know it is difficult when you are down there but there is always hope.
