Hi

I wondered what people thought about managing psychotic episodes without medication? Or also would people take medication continually if the psychotic episodes had been years apart? I guess I'm a little frightened about the potential return of symptoms but felt so awful on meds that it didn't seem like an option. Now I wonder if I'd stayed on antipsychotics might the last episode not have happened. I've also started to become really anxious about it returning. Just feel a bit lonely with it all and wanted some opinions. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to answer. X

Hey Niamh, why it wasn't that good your weekend?

My fight was because I want to move out and live by myself but they don't want me living alone cause they think I will start going the wrong way again, but I just feel I need some space to be myself, my new me and not the ooo poor anorexic recovering girl that I think everyone sees in me. I want to move to another country or sth, have a clean start.

And Freedom thanks, I do find it therapeutic coming here and just knowing someone understands me and cares. And you are totaly right, only us know what we go through and not even shrinks know cause they haven't gone through what we have.

Cheers guys and virtual hugs as Niamh says :)
