bean69 I have a lady phone me regularly, I call her my "pet benefits lady" because I stuck to my guns that I couldn't go for an interview or medical, but they were welcome to come and visit me. I explained I'm agoraphobic and they took it at that. Thankfully!!! Still hate those blasted forms though...

beanie, if we could just turn off the worry because somebody says we ought to, we wouldn't still be in this pickle.  If only the "pull yourself together brigade" understood that, I might not feel like screaming so often...... grrrrrrrrr!

Well a bit of an update on me and the bloody D.W.P. after being on DLA/mobility for about 7 years they've took it off me!!! According to the letter they sent back, they claim I can walk over 200 metres!!!! They never asked how far I could walk and my car was parked about 20-30 feet away from the door so it's more Bull S**t to knock me off my benefit.

The appeals been made, now just waiting to hear back from them, strange in 7 years since I first got the payment I've got worse not better!!!  So it's all to save money and rob the needy. I don't have a mobility car (for this reason) but if I have to get rid of my own personal car, it means I'll have to take taxi's every time I go out as it's to far for me to walk to the bus stop. When I attend the hospital it's going to cost about £30 and £12 to go see my GP, so how am I pay for it out of my flat benefit money!!!!

Yours,

one very p***ed off person.

Stu.

PS I found someone that works for the local housing association (used to be a council house I live in, now took over by association but still known as the council lol hope that's clear!!) Well they have staff that help people with finances and she filled the forms in for me. She's very helpful but limited to what she can and can't do. So it could be worth checking them out if you can't find help anywhere else.
