Osteoarthritis is the most form of arthritis and it most commonly occurs in the spine, hands, hips, knees and spine.

Where does your osteoarthritis affect you? Is it just one location or several?

I have osteoarthritis in my hands, feet, lower back and just recently in my knees. Keep taking the meds. and hope for the best. I don't find the exercises much help, if anything it makes my pain much worse at times. It seems to be 'one of those' ailments that if you are unlucky enough to get? You put up  with it? Maybe some sufferers get relief from medication and/or exercise? If you are one of the lucky one's? I take my hat off to you and wish you all the best.

'Fill yer boot's'  Y'all.

@JosephineO‍

Hello Josephine

I am already active on the Arthritis group discussion. Have been for a while. I would like to point out that I do not have any spasticity. I have mentioned this before as well. Perhaps I could be taken off that list, I will be grateful.

How ever, I would be very interested, if any one has, or had Plural Effusion (Fluid in the Plural cavity of the lungs) My husband was diagnosed with this in Nov 17 and was seriously ill with it. He had to go in as an in patient twice, for the fluid to be drained off. Total fluid drained was 4 liters. Although he is better now, his plural cavities are still getting filled up and will need to go in periodically for draining off when he gets very short of breath, or have a long term indwelling drain which he can drain it off himself when the need arises. The doctors were unable to find the source of the fluid. It was tested for Cancer twice, as he did have cancer of the Oesophagus, successfully operated  nearly 3 years ago, and both time it was negative. The CT scan of the lung did not show any sign of Asbestosis or Cancer of the lung.

I would very much like to hear from any one suffering, or have suffered from it in the past.

Thank you

Christina

Thank you.

In my knees.  However, my left knee replacement last October has been very successful and the right knee is scheduled for May.
