Hi smudger I was taking naproxen 2 x 500 mg a day even taking a stomach liner they still do so much damage to the stomach as well as other things so you have to weigh up the pros and cons turmeric is natural so it was a no brainer for me

Hello, I have a question for you all. what is the dosage you are taking? I've heard a lot of people saying they've taken the recommended dosage but haven't had any effect. Thank you!

I have just read something about turmeric, although mixed with black pepper it is good for anti-inflammatory pain relief, you have to be exceptionally careful regarding using it. This is because it is a blood thinner and if you are already taking blood thinners or anti-coagulants it could cause problems. This is something you would have to look into yourself and ALWAYS check with your pharmacist or GP before taking herbal or natural remedies for anything.

For me I don't see that taking the small amounts has a big benefit it's like how many mushrooms you have to eat to get enough vitamin D. It's not exactly cheap if you buy it from health stores allegedly specifically for arthritis for me it's just a fad.
